Mechanical Design Engineer

Siddique Ice & Cold Storage operates an ammonia-based refrigeration plant in Islamabad, Pakistan. We specialize in cold storage, block ice manufacturing, and in-house engineering services. Our team supports a diverse set of industrial operations, combining reliability with innovation.

Expected Start Date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities

• Create 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings using SolidWorks
• Supervise on-site and off-site projects, ensuring personnel work efficiently on designated tasks
• Coordinate with maintenance teams and contractors for equipment installations and modifications
• Develop technical documentation and work instructions for production and maintenance activities
• Support engineering projects from design phase through implementation and commissioning

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in mechanical design
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical diploma
• Proficient in SolidWorks (3D modeling, assemblies, technical drawings)
• Ability to work both in office environment and field locations
• Strong communication skills in English and Urdu

Preferred Skills (Optional)

• Project management certification or training
• Knowledge of industrial maintenance practices
